The Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, a gamma-ray-burst concentration spanning on the order of 10 Gly at z near 2 (Horvath 2014), would be the largest structure known, exceeding the homogeneity scale by more than an order of magnitude. If real, no standard structure-formation mechanism survives it; the model's defense is to hope the sparse GRB tracer manufactured it.
Hierarchical growth cannot correlate matter across distances light has not spanned since the structure's epoch, and inflation provides no organization at that scale to inherit. The cosmological principle requires featurelessness there outright, so the model is committed in advance to the structure being an artifact, whatever the catalogs eventually show.
SCT is the framework with room for it. First-stage cascade collisions, the largest events in the sequence, deposit coherent structure up to the parent-pocket scale Λ_max ≈ 2 × R_pocket ≈ 5 Gpc (P55), and the HCB Wall's roughly 3 Gpc extent sits inside that cap, in the band reserved for the cascade's opening events. Coherence at that scale needs no assembly time because none was spent: the intersection front engulfed the overlap volume before any internal signal could cross it (P22), and the near-head-on geometry compressed the deposit into the wall morphology (P33). The largest structure in the sky is, on this reading, the most direct surviving image of the first collision stage.
The cap makes the claim falsifiable in both directions, which is its virtue. A real HCB Wall at 3 Gpc is a confirmation; a confirmed coherent structure substantially beyond 5 Gpc would break the parent-pocket hierarchy and falsify the first-stage scale itself. And SCT keeps the cosmological principle by relocating it: homogeneity holds as the infinite-space average (P2, P6), not as a constraint on individual patches, so one patch carrying a first-stage relic violates nothing. The wall joins the Sloan and CfA2 walls, the Big Ring, and the Giant Arc as the top rung of one deposited size ladder (recid 99, recid 94, recid 85). The architecture is in Paper 1, From Chaos to Convergent Foundations, with the cascade mechanics in Paper 4, From Chaos To Collisothermal Cosmogenesis.
Keystone economy: P22 for the coherence, P55 for the scale. If the GRB tracer holds, the first collision left a photograph.
Two-sided and registered. If growing Swift, Fermi, and THESEUS-class GRB catalogs dissolve the HCB Wall into tracer-sparseness artifacts, SCT loses nothing, since the cascade requires the population cap, not this member. But if giant-structure censuses confirm coherent objects substantially beyond Λ_max ≈ 5 Gpc, the parent-pocket scale is broken and the M4 first-stage reading is refuted. Equally, a universe whose largest confirmed structures terminate at the hierarchical few-hundred-Mpc ceiling would remove the first-stage band entirely.
